Not much to do for teenagers in the small town of Lachengrin Michigan. Two teens were about to find...much to do. Debbie opened the window and the warm wind blew dust from the sill. Gabriel, who was sitting on the floor...coughed while waving his hands...said,"Thanks...I needed a dirt bath." Debbie looked down at him...smiling...saying,"It's just dust...what a wussy." Gabriel smacked her on the butt...laughed and said,"I'm not the one who climbed up the bank to avoid a flat squirrel on the road."
Debbie, with an angry look on her face... raised her hand as if to slap him for touching her bottom. Gabriel leaned back and shouted,"What..all I did was spank you...we're friends..come on...it's cool!" Debbie grumbled,"Don't do it again...I don't like that!" Gabriele's face turned red as he said,"Sorry."
Debbie and Gabriel had been friends since grade school. Gabriel was almost 16 and Debbie had just turned 15. The more time they spent together...the more Gabriel noticed Debbie's curves and changes in her moods. She used to love to tackle him and wrestle. She didn't even care much for fishing anymore, either. Debbie noticed changes in Gabriel too. He was growing into a handsome young man and they looked at each other differently.
Debbie sat down in front of Gabriel with her hands on her knees and her chin on her hands. Gabriel could see between her legs. Her pink panties were peeking from her cutoff jean shorts. Her straight blond hair barely touched her shoulders and "Her smile was like a cherry half moon under two beautiful blue planets" Gabriel thought as he looked at her.
Debbie looked at Gabriel...his long, curly dark hair draped over his shoulders reminded her of a long haired Prince she once saw in a painting. His big brown eyes were so soft and sparkled in the light coming from the window. They looked at each other without saying a word for what seemed like eternity. Neither could think of anything to say. Gabriel saw and old dusty brown, long necked bottle by a ratty green stuffed chair and said,"Want to play spin the bottle?" He then noticed a cork in the end...he pulled the cork out and turned the bottle up side down because it felt like it was half full...nothing came out.
Debbie shyly said,"Isn't that the kissing game?" Gabriel said,"My friend Ronny told me that when he and his girlfriend played it...it was for clothes...not kisses." Debbie rolled her eyes and said,"That's stupid....he just made that up." Gabriel defensively said,"Ronny isn't a liar...if he said it...he did it.....you're just chicken."
Debbie immediately stood up...then got down on her knees and snarled out,"Spin it...Mr. Knows All!" Gabriel with a surprised look on his face...asked,"Really?" She nodded and grinned...saying,"Really." Gabriel leaned and nervously grabbed the bottle and spun it. It twirled on the rug and stopped...pointing at a hole in the plaster wall. Debbie grinned and said,"I guess the wall has to remove it's wall paper?"
Gabriel smiled back and said,"No.....if the bottle spins away from us...we do nothing....if it points to you...you have to take something off....if it points to me....I have to take something off." Debbie grabbed the bottle...spun it and it slowly pointed to herself. She asked,"What now?" Gabriel smiled and said,"You have to take something off." Debbie giggled as she pulled off her left saddle shoe.
Gabriel spun the bottle and it pointed to Debbie again. She sighed and pulled her white sock off. Gabriel thought of how her foot was even pretty. Debbie spun the bottle and it pointed to the other wall. Gabriel laughed as he spun the bottle...Debbie again. She grumbled,"That bottle is hexed" as she removed her right shoe. Debbie spun the bottle and it again pointed to her. As she pulled her other sock off...she said,"This is getting ridiculous!"
Gabriel spun the bottle and it pointed at Debbie again." She snarled out,"This is bullshit!" Gabriel laughed and said,"I think the old brown bottle likes you!" Debbie gave him a hard look as she reluctantly removed her blue and red... tie die T shirt." Embarrassed...she crossed her arms trying to hide her white bra. Gabriel stared at her as she held one arm across her bra and spun the bottle. It pointed to her once again. Gabriel busted out laughing as Debbie stood up and stomped her foot...shouting,"Fuck....we are changing spots...you sit where I was!"
Gabriel did as she said as she turned away from him and dropped her shorts. She stepped out of her shorts and stood for a moment before she sat down. Gabriel couldn't take his eyes from her....he was enchanted. Debbie got on her knees..sat back on her feet and said,"Quit staring at me and spin the damn bottle!" Gabriel spun again and it finally pointed at him. Debbie smiled as he took his black tennis shoe off. Gabriel lost his shoes, socks and shirt before it pointed to Debbie again.
With a determined look on her face...she reached behind her to unfasten her bra. Gabriel didn't move...didn't even breathe as she slowly pulled the cups away from her breasts. Debbie blushed and softly said,"Keep spinning it." Gabriel reached for the bottle...saying,"Are you sure...we can stop if you want." Debbie said,"No....spin it." Gabriel did and Debbie breathed a sigh of relief as it pointed at him. She giggled and said,"Off with the pants."
Gabriel stood up and turned away from her. He looked over his shoulder at her smiling. He pulled his bell bottom jeans down and nervously stepped out of them. He covered the front of his white underwear with his hands as he sat down. Debbie smiled and said,"Why are you covering yourself...I've seen you in swimming trunks." Gabriel blushed and said,"Yeah...but this is different." Debbie just smiled and spun the bottle. It pointed at Gabriel again. He stood up...turned away and said,"Don't laugh when I turn around...promise me you won't laugh!"
She promised and he held his legs tightly together and slowly turned with his hands on his hips. Debbie had a stunned look on her face. His member was half erect and hanging like a fishing pole. Gabriel sat down quickly and held his legs together to hide his total nudity. Debbie was silent for a moment and then spoke softly,"You have a nice body...very nice." Gabriel looked at her and muttered,"Th...th...thank you."

Debbie spun the bottle without taking her eyes off of him. The bottle pointed to Gabriel again. Debbie asked,"What now...you don't have anything left to take off?" Gabriel with a red face...shrugged his shoulders and said,"I don't know...I guess the game is over?" Debbie slowly stood up...facing him and pulled her panties down to her knees..then wiggling them to her ankles. Gabriel stood up and saw her beautiful blond mound. She put her hands behind her and just stood for him to look at her.
She stepped out of her panties and eased towards him. She reached to stroke his face, gently with her hand. Debbie softly said,"We can make out...if you want to?" Nine months later...Gabriel was in a hospital waiting room...sitting with his parents across from Debbie's angered mother. Her father refused to be involved at all. They could hear her screaming. Gabriel sat silent with tears in his eyes. He wanted to run to her...he wanted to hold her. They all stood up as they heard a commotion...nurses and other doctors came running down the hall! Gabriel...being held back by his dad...screamed,"What is wrong...what the fuck is wrong?"
A nurse tried to calm him down as they motioned for Debbie's mother to come down the hall. Her mother stepped quickly down the hall and turned into the delivery room. They heard a scream from her mother! Gabriel broke loose from his father and ran to the room. Just as he got to the door...they rushed an incubator cart past him. He fought past two nurses and a doctor to reach Debbie. She was OK but she was sobbing uncontrollably. Gabriel shouted,"What the fuck happened...what is wrong?"
Debbie looked at him trembling and with a hoarse voice said,"The baby...the baby is." She passed out and three orderlies forced Gabriel out of the room. Doctor Joseph Alvens promised him that she was OK and told him to wait in the lobby. Debbie's mother sat in the lobby...speechless. She wouldn't talk at all....she only wept. Gabriele's father tried to find out what was going on but the doctor in charge told him to wait and that he would be told.
Two hours went by and the doctor finally came to the lobby. He asked to speak with Gabriel in private. They had let Debbie's mother in to be with her but refused to let Gabriel see her yet. Gabriel followed the doctor into a small office and the doctor shut the door. Gabriel asked,"Can I see Debbie....what the hell is happening?" The doctor said,"The baby girl is deformed Gabriel...it is indescribable." Gabriel instantly said,"I want to see her...now!"
Doctor Alvens leaned back in his chair and said,"I need to ask you some questions first....do you take drugs?" Gabriel shouted,"No...I hate fucking drugs...so does Debbie!" The doctor said,"Calm down...just calm down young man..I have to ask you important questions for the mother and the baby's sake." The doctor put on his glasses...looked at a chart and asked,"Do you know of any deformities in your family history? Gabriel quickly said,"None." The doctor asked a few more questions and then led Gabriel down the hall to a locked and Hospital Security guarded room.

They walked in the room and four nurses stepped back from the incubator. Gabriel slowly walked up...looked inside and turned away gagging. He began to violently vomit in his hands...splashing to the floor. One of the nurses helped him sit down in a chair as all the blood went from his face. She helped him clean himself with a towel as he cried...asking,"What the fuck is that...that can't be my daughter...it can't be!"
As the nurse held her hand on Gabriel's shoulder...the doctor said,"I've seen hundreds of deformities but never one even close to this." The doctor then said,"I need to ask a few more questions....do you know where the child was conceived?" Gabriel...not thinking...said,"I don't know...we had sex a lot last summer...maybe in my basement....maybe her room....fuck...I can't think....uh...maybe in that old house...it was our first time."
Doctor Alvens asked,"Old house...what old house?" Gabriel said,"The Koon's place." One of the nurses spoke out,"You know doctor...Horace and Vila Koon's...the old mansion is just off of 16th street. Another nurse added,"They donated money for this wing of the hospital...Vila was pregnant...she had a miscarriage and bled to death in the house.....Horace found her on the study floor....after the funeral...he left and was never heard from again.."
Gabriel looked at her and said,"The study floor is where we first had sex....on the red and brown rug." The same nurse added,"There were rumors that Horace never touched Vila...he even ejaculated in a bottle to transfer the sperm to her....he wanted to have a child without the sin of sex." The doctor spoke out,"That's enough talk about that subject....we need to get to the bottom of why this happened."
Gabriel finally got in to see Debbie and refused to leave her side. Within a few hours...Debbie was able to get out of bed into a wheel chair. She wanted to see her baby and was taken to a special room set up for a nursery. As Gabriel pushed the wheel chair up to the incubator....tears began rolling from Debbie's eyes. She looked and could see that the baby was born with a nearly see through body. If not for the density of the bones...the child could barely be seen. She reached in and gently touched the baby girl...she could feel warmth and that the baby was breathing. She asked the nurses if she could hold her. One of the nurses wrapped the baby with the blanket she was laying on...picked her up and handed her to Debbie.
Debbie cried...saying,"I wish we could see you." Debbie kissed the little girl's face and saw that one of her tears was puddled between the child's nose and cheek. She wiped the tear with her finger and saw crystal blue eyes appear and then a faint appearance of flesh. Debbie found the baby's right hand and the baby clinched her little finger. Gabriel could see the baby now and toughed her face. A nurse ran to get the doctor as the baby phased into full sight. Debbie cried,"My God...it's a miracle...she is beautiful Gabriel...so beautiful!"
As Doctor Alvens rushed in the room...the baby already looked perfectly normal. The doctor gasped and said,"Nurse...get me a Martini....make that a bottle of gin!" Debbie and Gabriel took turns holding the baby until Doctor Alvens convinced Debbie to go back to her room and rest. As Gabriel wheeled her from the room...Debbie said,"We need to name her." Gabriel kissed her cheek and said,"Casper." Debbie giggled and said,"That's silly...I've thought of a hundred names before but none of them fit now." She looked up at Gabriel smiling and said,"Casper huh....how about Kassie?" Gabriel smiled back and said,"Perfect.....Kassie it is."
Four days later....Debbie got to take her very special baby home...but not to her house. Her parents had forbidden her to bring a "freakish child" into their residence. Her parents were extremely religious and just as superstitious. Debbie was welcomed into Gabriel's parents home. The police had to make a way for them to get to the door. Reporters were everywhere! Debbie and Gabriel refused to talk with any of them...even for large sums of money.
A week passed and Doctor Alvens called Gabriel and Debbie in to ask more questions. They met him in his office and the first question he asked was to describe their sex on the day of conception. They were both embarrassed but Debbie started out by telling him about spinning the bottle. The doctor wanted to hear every detail of their experience. Debbie told him that Gabriel had his orgasm before her and she kept going....then Gabriel had another orgasm. Gabriel spoke out,"No I didn't..I only went once."
Debbie grumbled,"I know you went again...I felt it." Gabriel said,"I know I didn't...it was our first time...I remember every little detail." Debbie crossed her arms and huffed,"Twice...it was twice doctor." Gabriel huffed back,"Once...it was definitely...once!" The doctor chuckled and said,"OK kids....I will take both versions into consideration. The doctor took notes and asked Them to bring the baby in for a check up. As they left the doctor's office...they passed an Army Colonel and two soldiers in the corridor. They turned back to see the Colonel walk into the doctor's office.

Gabriel and Debbie stepped around the corner and stopped to listen. Within just a moments...they heard Dr. Alvens shout,"It is a baby girl...not a fucking weapon to add to your insane arsenal of destruction!" They couldn't hear what the Colonel said back to him. Dr. Alvens shouted again,"Get out of my hospital...I don't care who ordered you here....get out!"
They heard the Colonel and a soldier walking back down the hall and rushed to the stairway entrance. They ran down the stairs as Gabriel angrily said,"They are not going to touch Cassie....no fucking way!" They came out of the stairway on the first floor and saw a female Army Officer interviewing one of the nurses. The nurse saw them and manipulated the Officer away from the lobby. Gabriel and Debbie managed to sneak out the rear entrance and made their way to his dad's car.
They sped towards home. Halfway there...they passed two black cars and four Army trucks. Gabriel took a shortcut and they were home within five minutes. He knew they only had fifteen or even less minutes to get away. They ran in the house and explained the situation to Gabriel's parents. Gabriel's mother went into the kitchen and came back with eight thousand dollars in cash. His father said,"What the hell Miriam?" She said,"I was saving it for vacation."
In a few minutes...Gabriel, Debbie and Cassie were on their way to anywhere but Lachengrin. They headed south in his dad's blue Oldsmobile. Debbie said,"We can't let them find us...they are going to figure out sooner or later that we are in your dad's car." Gabriel said,"I know...I know...I'm going to head for Dayton Ohio on 75 and then take 70 West towards California...we have to create some distance."
Debbie asked,"What in the world would they want with Cassie?" Gabriel replied,"She can become invisible...that's what they want...maybe to steal stuff or even be a hit woman." Debbie said,"That's just sick" as she looked down at Cassie in her arms. They had driven for 15 hours...just stopping for gas and food. Gabriel has switched license plates with a similar blue Michigan car in St. Louis. They turned off of 70 and took Highway 56 to Allen Kansas. Debbie asked,"Why do you keep looking at motels?"
Gabriel said,"I'm getting real tired and we need to stop." Debbie said,"I can drive...just let me drive while you sleep." Gabriel said,"I need to get out of this damn car for a while.....I'm sore from sitting...I need to lay on a bed." He spotted a small motel far off of the highway...turned in and parked the car beneath a tree at the corner of the long building. Gabriel went in the office to pay for a room. A toothless man took his cash while and old woman handed him a key. Gabriel could hear their TV in the back room.
They got in their room and Cassie was crying. Gabriel fed her as Debbie took a shower. When she came out of the shower...Gabriel turned the TV on. He flipped through a couple of channels and they saw Debbie's parents talking with reporters. Debbie grumbled,"Great...now they decide to love me." Debbie's mother was pleading for her and Gabriel to come back to Michigan and turn themselves in because the baby may be infectious." Debbie shouted,"Infectious...that's a fucking lie!"
As Gabriel's and Debbie's pictures were being shown...a reporter said,"Lachengrin Hospital staff has been quarantined...thee nurses have died and the death toll is expected to rise...Dr. Joseph Alvens is hanging on but expected to not survive according to Head Nurse, Lorrie Mathis. The reporter added,"Anyone who came in contact with the child or the parents is commanded to report at Army Station X4...so far and estimates 74 people have been quarantined." The newscast then revealed soldiers in Hazardous Materials Suits surrounding the Koon's mansion and carrying boxes out.
As a commercial came on...Gabriel said,"This is a lie....I know it's a lie....do you feel any different Debbie?" Debbie answered,"No...just tired and disgusted with my parents. Gabriel said,"Well...I need a shower and some rest...we'll get back on the road after a couple hours sleep." Debbie touched his face gently and said softly,"OK...I really love you." Gabriel gave her a tired grin and said,"I love you too...I love you and Cassie so much."
The news came back on and Debbie watched it intensely as Gabriel was in the shower. Debbie unfolded the receiving blanket from around Cassie and noticed the bottom corner was a little stiff. She pressed it between her fingers and thumb. Cassie immediately began to fade. Debbie picked her up and Cassie was normal...instantly. She laid Cassie back on the blanket and she faded again...almost invisible until Debbie fooled with the blanket corner. She shouted out,"Gabriel!"

Gabriel came rushing out of the shower and said,"What...what's wrong?" Debbie shouted,"Look at this!" She showed him what happened when Cassie was on the blanket." As Debbie held Cassie...Gabriel laid his wet arm over the blanket and pressed the corner."
His arm faded and grew invisible." He said,"What the fuck...it's not Cassie...it's this blanket!" Debbie said,"That's why the head nurse told us Cassie needed this special blanket against her skin...she must have been in on it."
Gabriel sat on the bed and said,"Why us...why Cassie...none of this shit makes sense." Debbie rocked Cassie in her arms and said,"I don't know....it doesn't make sense at all." Gabriel grabbed the blanket and held it up to the lamp light.
He couldn't see through the threads. He laid it back on the bed and peeled an edge back with his fingernails to reveal a soft white shinny sheet. He looked closer and saw fine lines of what looked like tiny...almost microscopic light bulbs woven into the threads.
He looked up at Debbie and said,"I think I know how it works...somehow it acts like an ex-ray...it shines an intense light through the body and somehow makes it look invisible....pretty cool but as you said...why Cassie...why us?" Debbie said,"You'd better finish your shower and get some rest." Gabriel agreed and did so.
Five hours went by and a crack of daylight was flickering in the curtain above the blowing air conditioner. Debbie woke up to Cassie cooing next to her. She woke Gabriel and they began to gather their things to leave.
Just as they were about to walk out the door...Gabriel stopped and began wiping tears from his eyes. Debbie asked him what was wrong. He said,"Mom and dad....what will they do to mom and dad?" Debbie hugged him and said,"I don't know but we have to save us now...you me and Cassie." Gabriel took a deep breath and said,"You're right....we have to save us."
It was a bright Colorado morning when a rancher stood in his field and saw a large helicopter lifting up from the direction of the highway. A group of three military jets had just flown over the ranch. The rancher took off his hat and scratched his head when he saw the back of a blue car disappear behind the closing ramp.
A conversation was taking place in a large black military van just outside of Lachengrin. The Colonel sat across from a man who asked,"What about the teenagers and the baby?" The Colonel said,"They will receive new identities and be placed according to plans...we can't illuminate them...they could be useful." The man leaned back in his chair and said,"How do you know they won't leak the truth?" The Colonel smiled and said,"I am sure they don't know the truth and are by now believing they are the utmost patriots...serving their country while being awarded a fine and free living."
The man smiled and said,"Pitty we had to waste a doctor and five nurses....nevertheless...Project Lachengrin Invisible Entity could very well give us the nudge we need to convince the communist countries that we have possession of a human being who can actually cloak herself at will."
The Colonel laughed .... saying,"I can see the Russians now....wasting precious time and resources on trying to cloak their own human...this was an ingenious plan!" He laughed harder and said,"Can you imagine the security adjustments they will try to make...even if they don't believe the invisible bullshit..they will believe we possess a biological weapon that can kill in a matter of hours!"
The man grinned and said,"Yes it was genius...and...it also killed two birds with one stone." The Colonel asked,"What do you mean?" The man leaned forward in the desk light and said,"Dr. Alvens was my wife's doctor...I've always wanted to pay him back for letting her die....we needed a town to perform the hoax...Lacchengrin was the first to come to my mind." The Colonel lit a Cuban cigar....grinned and said,"Horace Koons....you are a devious man."
As the smoke cleared...the Colonel was astonished to see that Horace was gone. The Colonel said,"Horace...where the hell did you go" as he looked over the table.
Horace spoke,"I am here Colonel but now I am off to see my child." The door opened and slammed shut.
