Friendship
A friend is someone who doesn’t judge
When you make lousy decisions.
They listen and advise
But are there to pick up the pieces.
A friend keeps all of your secrets safe
And defends your actions to others.
You can be yourself with your friends
No pretence needed, no acting required.
A friend will tell you honestly what they think
And will still be your friend if you don’t agree.
They give support through the hard times
And enjoy sharing the good times.
A friend will always be there for you
Any time of day or night.
They will cheer you up when you are down
And will give unconditional support.
Be who you are & say what you feel
Real friends don’t mind & will love you regardless.
A friend will ask you how you are
And will actually want to hear the answer.
We don’t choose our families
Fate connects strangers & we choose to make them friends.
True friends discover that they can grow separately
Without growing apart.
True friends are hard to find, difficult to leave
And impossible to forget.
