This Man's Army

‘Left, left, left right left.
Company...
halt!

Today's lesson is hate...
you must give your mind over to us,
we specialise in hate.
Hatred is what keeps us apart from the rest of the animal kingdom,
its what makes us civilised'.

‘Sir'
‘Yes Watts?'
‘I thought that was ignorance sir'.
‘Do you want to give the lesson Watts?'
‘No sir!'
‘Then shut up.

Now where was I?
Oh yes, hate.
Well, who do we hate?'
Silence.
‘Bunch of ignorants', the sergeant thought,
he was right.

‘Very well, we hate...
...all those who wish peace,
peace breeds discontent,
that's what causes civil wars,
we don't need that.

We hate anyone who won't stand up for "God Save The Queen",
anyone who is against the government
for they pay our wages.
We hate blacks, Chinese & Indian,
Half-caste & Muslim'.

‘Sir'
‘Yes Watts?'
‘Is there anyone we don't hate?'
‘Of course there is,
we don't hate the Americans'.
‘Why sir?'

‘We don't hate the Americans because we have the same interests,
because they have money,
because they have power
and most importantly,
because the bastards might invade us!

All right men, class dismissed.
Tomorrow, I'll show you how to blow up a Greenpeace ship
and remember, revelry at 06:00.
Fall... out!'
