"Come on Gab, we're going to be late!" Abigail yelled at Gabriel. "Bella just called me, and they want to meet at Fin's. We're taking the two biggest cars and leaving the rest at his house!"
Gabriel came walking down the stairs with his back pack on, "Alright Abs, we'll get there in record time, don't worry."

"Did you tell her my house Bell?" Fin asked Isabella as soon as he entered the room.
"Yes Fin, you only told me like a hundred times that you wanted everyone to meet here," Isabella said.
"HELLO!? Where is everyone?" Rury shouts as she gets in the door.
"Up here in Fin's room Rury," Isabella yelled down.
Rury walks into the room, "Hey guys, why the sudden change on the meeting place?"
"Fin wants everyone to meet here ‘cause he only wants to bring two cars," Isabella explained.
"Oh, that's a good idea, but whose cars are we taking?"
Fin stepped in the room, "Where taking Gab's and Logan's ‘cause they're the two biggest cars."
"YO FIN!" Gabriel yelled out has he got in the house.
"MY ROOM GAB!"
"Is everyone here?" Gabriel asked.
"No, we're waitin' for Logan. Is Abby with you?"
"Yeah Fin, Abby's with me. She was worried we'd get left behind because we were running late." Gabriel laughed.
"Ha. You're like a speed demon, you're never late," Fin laughed.
"Hey Bells, are you excited?" Abigail asked as she entered the room.
"Yeah, I'm totally psyched!"
"Yeah so am I. I can't wait!"
As Logan walks into the room, "Come on everyone. We got somewhere to be."

Logan's cell phone rang, "Hello?" Abbigail answered the phone.
"Hey Abs, its Gabriel, where's Logan?"
"He's driving moron!" Abbigail shouted through the phone. "What do you want anyway?"
"Put the phone on speaker, so I can speak with Logan," Gabriel said annoyed with Abbigail.
"Do not tell me what to do, Gabriel Thomas Zimmerman! You little spoiled..."
Logan cut her off, "Babe, what does Gab want? Put him on speaker.
"Psh, fine," Abbigail said still mad but puts the phone on speaker.
"Logan?"
"Yeah Gab, go head."
"We've got about an hour and forty-five left before we reach the pine barrens. Everyone from this end is complaining that they're hungry."
"Alright, so the next exit off the highway, which is exit 109A-B," Logan said. "We'll get something to eat and then head back out."
"Okay sounds good to me Lo," Gabriel replied.

"Alright, first things first, we got to set the tents up," Gabriel said.
"Yo Gab, Catch!" Logan throws Gabriel his tent.
Logan gets out his tent and starts setting it up about 3 feet from where Gabriel set his up at.
"Yo Lo! Where the hell is..."
"Heads up!" Logan cut Fin off throwing him his tent.
"Thanks man," Fin said.
"No prob Fin," Logan replied.
"I'm going to gather some wood for a fire," Gabriel said.

The sun was setting and it was starting to get dark. ‘SNAP!' Gabriel jumped; he looked around to see if he could see anyone around. "It's just animal walking in the woods," Gabriel said to himself. He felt someone's presents there with him. He could feel someone's eyes burning in the back of his head. He was being watched he thought. "ALRIHGT GUYS, YOU GOT ME! I'M SCARED SHITLESS, GUESS I'M NOT AS THOUGH AS I ACT!" Gabriel shouted in the woods. He thought that his friends might be trying to scare him.
Gabriel froze to the ground he stood on. An angel faced girl with long straight blonde hair appeared in front of him. She didn't speak a word but just stood there. She began to change. Her clothes are now bloody, her lip is spilt open, a large gash is in her forehead, her hair is in a bloody matted mess, and had holes in her shirt that indicated she was stabbed multiple times. "Get out, get out, get out," her voice echoed as she vanished.
Gabriel walked back to the camp with the fire wind in hand not worrying about the ghost. He figured it was nothing to worry about. Nothing was going to happen, he thought to himself.
"Was that you shouting out there?" Logan asked with a curious look upon her face.
"Yeah, I saw a bear that all, nothing to worry about," Gabriel lied.
"A bear? It's kinda dangerous camping out here with bears," Rury said worriedly.
"Nah, it'll be fine. Don't worry that pretty little head of yours babe." Gabriel reinsured her.
"Alright enough! Let's get blasted, and go crazy!" Logan yelled excitedly.
Gabriel stacked some wood in the fire pit and started the fire. "That sounds like a great idea Lo." Gabriel stated.
Logan got the cooler out from the back of his truck, "Bottles up!" He said a she got a bottle out of the cooler.
"I think I'm just going to crush guys. I have a massive headache," Isabella said.
"Awe Bel, don't crap out on us now! The fun's just starting," Logan said with excitement in his voice.
"There's always tomorrow Lo. Night everyone, see you tomorrow," and with that Isabella went to her tent.

It now was dark, and everyone now relaxed and mellowed out, was sitting on logs around the camp fire when Abbigail saw something in woods that sparked her attention. "Lo, I thought you said no one ever comes out her?" Abbigail asked.
"Yeah, why?" Logan replied.
"Well then whose lights are they over there in that direction?" Abbigail points in the direction of the lights. The lights shinned on them for a few minutes then went off. "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT LO!" Abbigail said freaking out.
"I don't know, but I don't think it's nothing to worry about. Just chill out Abs, everything's gonna be fine," Logan told Abbigail.
"Right, nothing to worry about, okay," she said still worried. "I think I'm going to go to sleep, night everyone."
"Yeah, I think that's a good idea. I'm right behind you Abs. See ya'll tomorrow," Logan followed Abbigail to the tent.
Fin stood up, "I'm going to hit the sack myself. Night guys."
"Well that's enough excitement for me today. I'm going to bed babe," Rury said as she got up.
"Alright, I'll be there in a few," Gabriel said.
"Okay, don't stay up all night. There's weird things happening and I don't want to wake up with you missing."
"Alright," Gabriel replied. He sat staring into the fire. "What the hell is going on," Gabriel whispered to himself. He sat in the cool summer night's air still staring in to the fire. He was thinking about the days events. Could he really have seen and angel faced girl turn into a butchered murder victim? Or could he have imagined it? No, he thought, it couldn't have been my imagination. It was too graphic, too real. He got up from the log reaching for the buck of water. The air grew colder and the fire was no longer burning. Gabriel's eyes grew larger with fear, and he had goose bumps everywhere. The hair on the back of his neck stood on end. He was frozen; his heart beat three times faster than normal. "This is not happening", he spoke so softly he could barely hear himself muter the words.
The little girl with the angel face appeared in front of him once again. This time she did not speak, but only pointed deeper into the woods.
"Gabriel, are you okay?" Rury poked her head out of the tent. The girl disappeared at the sound on Rury's voice.
"Ye... yeah, I'm fine. I was just looking at the stars. I'm coming to bed now," Gabriel said.

It now was early next morning. The woods no longer dark and everything felt fine. "Hey Gab, what was all that noise last night?" Fin asked Gabriel who was now sitting on the ground resting on a tree.
"Man, I don't know. Something strange is going on in these woods," Gabriel said looking deep into the woods.
"What do you mean man?" Fin asked curiously.
"Well last night, while I was gathering wood for the fire, I saw... I don't know what I seen. First she appeared to be a beautiful little girl with an angel face, but... but after a few minutes she... she looked like a murder victim man. A damn murder victim! How could someone kill a child! I know it's not my imagination, no way man. That was too graphic. I even saw her after everyone went to bed. The fire went out by itself and there she was standing, pointing in that direction." Gabriel pointed in the same way the girl did last night.
"Gab we had a long drive and we were drinking man. It could have been..." Fin got cut off.
"Don't say it could have all just been in my head man. I know what I saw!" Gabriel started freaking out on Fin.
"Alright man, alright. Chill out, let's go check out what you're talkin' ‘bout."
Gabriel gets up and starts walking away from camp. Fin just stands there for a few seconds then runs to catch up with him.
"Are you sure you really saw a ghost?" Fin asked.
"Man, I know what I saw," Gabriel replied.
They walked for a half hour not speaking a word just searching the woods. In the distance they saw an old log cabin, and a truck parked right outside the house. I t seemed to be dead around, but they didn't know if anyone was home and decided not to bother with it. They turned around and started walking back towards camp.

Gabriel noticed something different, "Are we on the same trail as before?"
"I don't know man, it looks different," Fin said looking around.
They kept walking, trying to find something familiar from the way into the woods. The sun was starting to go down. Fin looked at his phone; it was 6:59 in the evening. He couldn't believe it. They have been walking around these woods for thirteen hours. They saw someone from in the distance.
At first they were not too sure who it was, but then they thought the person could help them. "HEY MAN! WE NEED DIERCTIONS!" They both yelled. The person did not speak, he just stood there.
They closed the distance in between them and the mute person. "HOLY SHIT MAN!" Fin shouted freaking out. "No wonder he didn't answer us, He's freakin' dead man," Fin said horrified.
Gabriel turned the little girls body fell right in front of him. He screamed so loud you would have sworn people across the world could hear him.
"What, what is it?" Fin turned around to see the girl's body hanging lifelessly in front of them.
"Thi... this is the little girl that I've been telling you about," Gabriel said stunned.
The angel faced girl appeared right beside Gabriel and Fin both. Fin's eyes grew large with fear just as Gabriel's had. "I told you to get out. I warned you and you did not listen. He heard you, he knows were you are, and now he's coming for you," the angel faced girl said softly.
A knife screamed passed Fin's head and the little girl disappeared. "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?" Fin yelled.
"I don't know but I think we better run. That guy over there looks pissed and ready for business," Gabriel said looking at this six foot four inch tall man, with short wild dark brown hair. His clothes were bloody and filled with dirt.
As they ran they saw many more bodies hanging from trees just like the others were. They smacked into body after body as they ran through the woods.

"You know Gabriel and Fin have been gone for a while," Abbigail said.
"Yeah, I knew. I don't know where they wandered off to. They might have just got lost in the woods," Logan said. "Night's falling fast so I better put some wood in the pit to light a fire."
"Yeah, good idea Lo, maybe Gab and Fin will be able to see the smoke from the fire," Isabella said hopefully.

Fin fell to his knees, "GABRIEL!"
Gabriel looked back to see Fin kneeling on the ground with the guy right behind him. Blood was running out of Fin's mouth. He knew there was nothing he could do but keep running. Just keep running, He thought. He'll get tired of chasing me after a while.

"Did anyone hear that?" Rury asked.
Logan looked confused, "Hear what?"
"RUN!!" Gabriel came running out of the woods scared for his life.
"Dude, Gab, calm done man. Breath," Logan said calmly.
"Breath? Calm done? FINS DEAD MAN! RUN NOW, RUN!" Gabriel ran into the truck, fumbling for his keys. He found his keys, and jerks open the driver side door. His hands were shacking so violently he couldn't get the key in the ignition right away. He finally got the key in the ignition and turned the key. "SHIT, SHIT, SHIT!" He yelled angrily.
"Dude, what the hell do you mean Fin's dead? What happened? Where did you guys go?" Logan was horrified, he had no idea what was happening. He did not know why Gabriel was freaking out, or why he wanted to get out so fast.
"Fin's dead? How? Why? What did you do Gabriel?" Isabella was so angry and upset she just blamed Gabriel for Fin's death.
"I did not do ANYTHING!" Gabriel shouted at Isabella. "This place has been a murder spot for years I suppose. I'm not too sure, but there are bodies hanging from trees with ropes around their necks. I'm thinking that the same insane person who killed them killed Fin, and is now after us."
"Whoa, us? What do you mean us man?" Logan said with fear in his voice.
"I think who ever Abs seen last night were watching us. He knows we're here and does not plan to let us leave from these woods."
Gabriel's eyes widened. Isabella dropped to the ground. "Evening ya'll, I reckon it's time for your check up," the tall filthy man said smiling with a mouth full of yellow rioted teeth. Isabella lay lifeless on the ground with a puddle of blood underneath her body. He throws a knife at Gabriel's head, but missed and the knife hit the truck instead.
"RUN, RUN, RUN, RUN!!!" Gabriel shouted at the others. Gabriel grabbed the knife and ran as fast as he could to put distance between him and the killer.
The man just stands there, hovering over Isabella's body. He dare not move an inch, for he knows the ways around the forest. He knows that it takes hours before you hit the road. He had time to destroy their lives.

Gabriel looked behind him and saw nothing but trees. He kept running not caring how exhausted he was.
"Gabriel, wait!" Rury yelled to Gabriel who was far ahead of her. "Gabr..." her words were cut off by the rope around her neck.
"Hello, my name's Rex and I'll be your doctor for today," Rex said to Rury smiling. He hit her over the head with a metal pipe and dragged her back to his cabin.

Rury's eyes darted around the room. She could not move, she could not speak, and all she could do was see. Her hand and legs were tied together. Her mouth was sewn shut, and she sit strapped to a chair. She saw Rex walking towards her, "Well hello darling. Did you sleep well? Shhh, don't try to speak now, rest your voice. I'm here to help you. I'm here to relieve your pain." Tears ran down Rury's cheeks. "Don't cry now my dear. There's nothing to fear, all your pain will be gone shortly." He picks up a scalp turning over in his hands.
Rury tried to scream but only muffled sounds came from here mouth. "Shut up! I told you don't say a word!" Rex hit her in the face with the knife slashing a deep cut into her cheek.

"Hey guys, where's Rury?" Gabriel asked looking around for Rury.
"I don't know man. Last I knew she was behind you." Logan answered.
"Damn it man, he got Rury! Damn it. Damn it. Damn it!" Gabriel was frustrated with himself for leaving Rury behind. The love of his life was gone in a flash.
"It's not your fault man. You didn't know. We all didn't know. We were just trying to run away from the psycho," Logan tried to comfort Gabriel.
"Umm, yeah guys. It wasn't anyone fault but I think you should run. They psychos closing distance on us," Abbigail said as she started running.
Logan and Gabriel were running right behind Abbigail. As they both started passing her they both grabbed her hands making her run faster. Not realizing the log in front on them, Gabriel tripped of it. He to the ground. Abbigail snatched her hand out of Logan's and ran back to her brother. She grabbed his hand helping him back up. She felt Gabriel jerk back. He had been stabbed with the knife Rex throw at him. The knife penetrated his left side were his heart lay. Abbigail clutched her twin brother in her arms sobbing violently. He was dying in her arms. She couldn't believe it. She loved him so much and he was being ripped from her life.
"I love you Gabriel. Despite all the bad times we had growing up I love you. You're my brother and I'll never forget you," Abbigail said throw sobs.
"I love you too sis," Gabriel whispered to Abbigail.
"Come on Abbigail. We have to go. He's right behind us. I know Gabriel's your brother. He's my best friend but we have to go babe," Logan said grabbing Abbigail's hand and running away as fast as he could.

Abbigail and Logan both made it out of the wood hours later. They came across a house with elderly people who lived there. Logan called the police and explained everything that happened.
They police found and shot down Rex after trying to just clam him down and arrest him. They found 69 lifeless bodies hanging from trees and in the log cabin, including the angel faced girl, JannieMay Larissa Smith that was only nine years of age. She was reported missing ten months ago.
Also found among the bodies were Gabriel Thomas Zimmerman nineteen years old. Rury Louise Fisher who was twenty years old. Isabella Rosetta Merlino seventeen years old. Fin Dean Russel eighteen years old.
When Abbigail and Logan got back to Lexington, North Carolina they had four funerals to pay their respects to their dear friends.
