Intro: I am embracing my right to say NO as easily as I say YES. Both are my choice, and neither is anyone else's damn business.

I can't believe I could ever deny
This part of me that may define me
I can't believe I could ever accept
That this part is all that defines me

I am no longer a sheath for a sword
This part of me was always mine
I spent so much time saying that it was yours
I wasted all that time

I thought I was claiming my power
When I was giving myself away
Well now I am taking all of me back
I'm reclaiming each part every day

I was saying "Take all of my body
But you'll never touch my soul"
I was wrong, I was lying to me
and I suddenly couldn't feel whole

I got so sick of being used
That now I am sickened by touch
My body still starves for affection
But I am afraid of receiving too much

I will never again be a sheath for a sword
I can't believe I would ever deny
That my body was never, could never, be yours
It is mine it is mine it is MINE
