FML!
Episode 6 Judge Moody
Today was the day of my trial in front of the school board. The only attorney I had was me. My parents didn't bother to bother. God forbid Roman was on trial they'd get him Star Jones.
I was so concerned about today that I didn't even try to over analyze why Jessica gave me a disconnected number.
When I got downstairs wearing my suit I was suprised. My parents made me breakfast. I sat down & saw my Bacon & eggs. There were 2 sunny side up eggs and bacon curved downward in an upside down "U" shape so that it formed a frown. Next I looked at the bowl of alphabet cereal next to it. The only letters that my parents put in it were : "L" "I" "A" &"R"
Nice to know where I stand. Looking forward to today. Not
I got to the school board building at 8:00 AM. The car ride with my parents was weird. Roman drove seperately in his own car. When we got there the whole football team was there & half of the student body. I also saw my teachers and Michelle who kept blowing kisses at me.
I sat in the front row but I noticed something. When Roman arrived he was smiling & high fiving & he was with Christianiana with his arm around her. Were they dating? I ignored it & sat down.
First they questioned my teachers. Most of their questions were about if I was a good kid. But heres how most of my teachers responded:
"He goes to this school?"
"What's his name again? Buck?"
"Quien es ese?"
"There's not way that kid is in my English Class."
Well if that wasn't a slap from God I don't know what is.
Then came the football team. They all lied. Especially Roman who deserved an Emmy for his acting.
"I am a loving brother to Chuck but he influences me in so many ways. I know I'm older but i look to him for guidance sometimes. We share a brotherly love but when he looked at me in the eye & and told me steroids where the only way, I believed him. But I still love you Chuck."
Everyone ate that crap up. My parents could care less. When asked all they said was, "Do what you want to him."
The only good thing was Bert. He sat at the bench and said, "Chuck & I were once good friends. We still are now because I know what he would go through to help me. Whether or nothe did it, which I don't think he did, he's a good person & I know he should be let off the hook."
I mouthed the word "thanks" to him.
There was a short recess. I stayed inside & drank some water. So far I didn't see this going in my favor. The school board gave me dirty looks & I could see that they saw guilt on my face that wasn't actually there.
After the recess one more person was to testify..... it was Michelle.
Great! Exactly what I needed. A crazy lovey dovey bitch to embarrass me even more if that was possible.
She sat down in front of all, "First I want to say that I love Chucky," everyone laughed, "so I would do anythingfor him. Including exposing the truth. Chucky didn't give the football team steroids.....Roman did!" Everyone gasped. Even I was shocked. Not that it was him but that she told the world. One of the board members asked for proof. "I have it. I found needles in his closet with his fingerprints," she held up the plastic bag with 3 needles," And I have some one on one interviews with some dealers downtown who I promised who would stay anonymous." She took out a tape recorded & handed it to the police along with the bag. Commotion started as everyone began discussing and whispering in shock.
I heard my mom say "Roman! It was you?"
He said ,"Wait, Michelle was in my room?!"
The police took Roman in for some questioning.
Well things were good. At least for me.
Later that night as I ate dinner with my parents Roman got back from the police station.
"They expelled me." Finally some justice. Fuck his life for once.
"Well," said Mom, "We're dissapointed in you Roman. You're grounded."
"YES!" I said in victory.
"You're grounded too," said Mom.
"Why?"
"You lied about something you didn't do." Ugh. FML.
