- Intro: My response to - First Time In Love (Poetry) by Yvonne3750

(Twenty six years and staring down the barrel of twenty seven…)
A daughter and three granddaughters – the light of our existence.
Two businesses, one bankruptcy, sickness, death and disability – we’ve visited them all in our time together!
It’s not very long and it doesn’t even rhyme; there’s no balance to it all; it’s all a bit of a jumble in fact…
But I read a poem today, about first love and how the person would never do it again – never feel it again! I thought that that was sad!
And so for what it is worth Yvonne3750
The joy of…
Sharing caring and just knowing…
That how I feel, matters, and
That it matters how you feel too.
I’ve had a really bad day
And I feel like it will never be right again
But a smile, a hug, a kiss; and
The sun comes out
The perspective is back
It was just a bad day
And it’s over now
And tomorrow will be new.
And how you feel
You’ve suffered a disappointment,
A loss, something sad, or just bad
I can hold you, and tell you
That it’ll be alright.
And make you feel better,
I have that power.
My days are eventful in some way, and
The first thought that comes into my head is
I must tell you all about it
Later when you come home
I’m whole and complete,
There is nothing that I can’t do.
I’m a woman of worth; I’ve a place in this world,
I’m needed – I’m special.
A purpose, a value
And that’s all because of you.
My husband my lover my very first love.
