Normality devours the beauty of strange,

strangling its breath from life unknown.

Hesitant not it kills meaning of change,

and thus imagination dies, forgotten and alone.

Billions starved with inevitable bore,

colors drained to a mere gloomy gray.

Mindless repetitive motions as sea upon shore,

time consumes rapidly, each and every day.

Peacefulness shielding what could have been,

shrouded in what if, making eyes sore blind.

Absent thought of wonders remaining unseen,

for strange is a creature, both evil and kind.
