When we got back home, I came home with a new song, about a baby. I had written it, in a mother's perspective. When I showed it to Dixon, his face immideately reddened, which only meant, it was a hit. I started jumping around and smiling.
"Oh my god, it's amazing right!" I started saying. He started laughing.
"This song needs a goddamn video to it," he said. I nodded.
"Of course it needs a video, and I need to be in the video," I said as I rubbed my little baby.
"What made you write this Loretta?" he asked me, rereading the paper again.
"My own little baby, the feeling I get when I notice that there's a little baby inside me growing," I said to him. He breathed out.
"We've got ourself a number one hit, I promise you, in a few months, this will be all over the planet," he said. I cheesed and sat on the chair.
"I hope so, I'm in need of one," I said. He shook his head.
"No you're not, your still top second right now, but this will definetely make you first," he told me.
"It has too."
I walked into the kitchen and ate myself a cupcake from the container. I was in love with these cupcakes. I'm always craving them. Nat sat beside me, eating one of his own.
"I'm going shopping, I don't need any bodyguards right?" I said to him. He shook his head.
"I can go with you if you want," he said as he finished his off.
"No, I'm fine, I think I need some girl time," I said as I got off the bar stool and walked out and got into my porshe. It was a red one, my favorite color. I breathed out as soon as I drove off the land. It was a beautiful afternoon here. As I got into the highway, people beeped at me. I smiled at them, waving with one hand and driving with the other.
"Loretta, I LOVE YOU!" a man said from the passenger side of a blue car. I laughed and sped on.
I parked my car and got out with my purse. There I saw that girl Perla, she was talking on the phone, her frown very obvious. I walked up to her.
"Okay, fuck you Mike," she hung up the phone and I tapped her shoulder. She looked up and gasped.
"You!" she said. I smiled.
"You okay Perla?" I asked her. She breathed in.
"You remember my name and no I'm not okay, I just broke up with my boyfriend," she frowned.
"Well, wanna tell me about while we shop, everything you get is on me sweetie," I said with a smile. She nodded and started telling me about how her boyfriend cheated on her while he was drunk, so he says. Then she told me how she really loves him but she doubts she needs a man like that in her life.
"Perla, you need someone who can value you, who see's how special you are," I admitted to her as we walked into Forever 21. People took pictures of me, smiling. I smiled back and looked at a nice shirt, it was for pregnant women. I smiled and took it in my arm.
"I know, but sometimes I feel lonely, my mother's a drunky, my father is never home and I'm an only child," she frowned. She took a nice purple shirt in her hands and looked around.
"Well then you can come to my house sometime, I'll be more than have a girl to shop with sometimes, and after the baby is born, I might need a babysitter," I admitted. She gasped. She looked down to my belly and touched it lightly.
"Oh my gosh! I never noticed!" she said. I laughed.
"Well yeah," I said. "6 months already."
"I saw your wedding on the TV, it was so magical and beautiful," she said. Then I felt bad for not inviting her.
"I would have invited you, but all I knew was that your name was Perla," I said. "I'm sorry."
"No it's fine, I saw Beyonce there with her child and I saw Chris Brown!" she said. I nodded and smiled.
"It was beautiful," I admitted.
"It looked too!" she said. I paid the clothes we got from Forever 21.
"Well I'm tired, want a ride home?" I asked her. She nodded. We walked outside and I almost dropped my bags. Ty was standing against my car, his arms crossed across his chest, his leg on the bumper of my car, his smile beaming.
"Your husband is one handome looking man," Perla said quietly. I laughed and walked to him. He pulled me to him and kissed me softly.
"Hi Perla," he said to the girl behind me. She squeaked. I laughed.
"Oh come on Perla," I said as she put the bags in the back seat.
"I'm driving okay?" he asked me. I nodded, passed him the keys, he got in the driver seat, Perla in the back seat and me int he passenger seat.
"Where too?" he said as he started the car.
"Perla, your adress?" I asked. She figetted.
"Uhm," she said. I looked at her from the rearview mirror.
"Your address?" I asked her. Then something I never expected happened, she was a wreck.
"I dont have an address!" she started crying, bawling her eyes out. I looked at Ty, he frowned and turned back in his seat.
"What do you mean?" he asked her. She started sniffling.
"I live in a shelter," she said. I gasped. I looked at Ty.
"Shelter?" he asked. She nodded.
"My mother is a prostitute, my father died a long time ago," she confessed. It was my turn to turn around in my seat.
"You told me your father is never home," I said softly.
"I just wanted you to like me and I'm so sorry," she cried. I held her hand.
"Ty?" I said quietly. He bit his lip.
"Nat," was the only word he said.
Perla was adopted in the next two weeks, making herself Loretta's sister. She was a 16 year old girl, such a sweet girl too. She was living with us at Loretta's house also. I found this girl amusing. She spoke to every one of the guards. Although they were supposed to be serious, they always spoke to her back, can't help her smile and her funny comments.
"Daddy?" she said softly. I looked behind me and found Nat with a birthday cake. He walked into the dinning room.
"Bj's birthday, he never likes big suprises, but that's what makes it so funny," he said quietly. Loretta was in her recording room, recording two new songs she came up with.
"Let's get everyone here, don't make it obvious," Nat said. Perla jumped out her seat and ran down the hall.
I walked up to the recording room to find Loretta fixing some words on a paper.
"Loretta?" I said softly. She looked up and smiled.
"Hey," she said as I bent down to kiss her softly.
"Well Nat is throwing a suprise birthday party for Bj and we all need to be there," I said. She smiled and nodded. She set the paper down on the sofa and held my hand as we walked down stairs to find everyone in the dining room. The big birthday cake already lit up. I sat down and pulled Loretta on my lap, Perla sitting on the dinning table in front of Nat, his arms around her shoulder. Dixon was standing next to the other guards, everybody trying so hard not to be loud.
"Hello? Bj, come into the goddamn dining room now," Dixon said angrily. This was all part of the show. A few seconds later, Bj walked in to recieve many Suprise!
"What the fuck?!?" he shouted. Loretta laughed and got off my lap to pull him by the arm towards the cake.
"Blow the candles out and make a wish," she said. He sighed and blew them out. He was now 54.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Everybody yelled. Then something unexpected happen. He smiled and laughed, hugging everyone around him.
"Thanks," he said. Loretta came to sit on my lap and smiled at Bj, she was so beautiful. Her smile lit up the whole room. She looked down at me and I couldnt help but hugged myself to her, her arms going around me, pulling me closely.
"Who wants cake?!?"
The next couple of months were really hectic for me, we rebuilt the babies' room, next to Perla's room. My baby song became the number one hit in the whole planet. I found out I was having twins, they ran in my side of the family. Two little girls.
"I know we're naming one baby, Perla," I said to Ty as we laid in bed at night. His arms were around me, his hands resting on my belly.
"Hm, Perla and Bella?" he said softly. Bella, hmm, I like it.
"That sounds good," I said to him. I was already in my ninth month and I was ready to pop out these babies.
"Perla is going to be so happy when she finds out," he said. I nodded and giggled.
"She's amazing," I admitted.
"Just like you," he said into my ear. I shivered and turned my head to kiss him. He groaned and kissed me back.
"I want to make love to you so badly, but I can't," he said. I backed up.
"Why?" I asked him. It was perfectly fine to have sex while being pregnant.
"I'm scared I'm going to hurt the babies," he said. I giggled and shrugged.
"Okay, whatever you say Ty," I continued laughing.
"It's not funny," he said into my throat.
"It was for me," I said.
"I love you Loretta," he said.
"I love you too Ty."
"Go to sleep."
"You go to sleep."
"No you first."
"Goodnight," he said.
"Goodnight," I said as I yawned. He held me closer and kissed my cheek before resting his head behind mine.
I was sitting with Nat and Dixon at the couch, watching Tv. The news were all over Loretta and I, talking about us about to have twins. Our wedding, the new addition to the family.
"Well, I want to know, am I still getting paid for being Loretta's bodyguard?" I started laughing at my own joke. Dixon started rolling and Nat just rolled his eyes with a smile.
"Hilarious, ask her," Dixon said. I sucked my teeth.
"Your the person who hired me," I told him. He smiled.
"I know, I'm not wasting no more money," he said. I looked at Nat.
"Will you pay me father in law?" He raised an eyebrow at me.
"GUYS!" Perla was at the bottom of the stairs, breathing hard.
"What happened?" Nat said, taking out his gun, I took out mine also.
"Where the fuck is Loretta?" I said to her, pulling her behind me. She shook her head.
"She's perfectly fine, well no she's not, she's having contractions, her water broke! THE BABIES ARE COMING!" she said. I put my gun back and ran up these spiral stairs. When I reached our room, there Loretta was, breathing hard, her hands holding her belly.
"Loretta, god, I'm here baby," I said to her as everyone came into the room.
"The hospital," she said. I nodded, picked her up, damn she was heavy, I walked down the stairs with Perla behind me with the bag of clothes. Nat was beside Perla.
"Ty, hurry up and get her there, I'll take the other car," Nat said as Perla got into the backseat of Nat's car. I drove away quickly, with Loretta breathing hard.
"God!" She shouted. I winced and drove to the hospital where Loretta wanted to have her babies. I drove into the emergency room.
"She's giving birth!" I shouted. The next few minutes were a blue. They took her out my arms, setting her on the seat, they rolled her away. Nat and Perla came behind me, running next to Loretta. She was taken to some metal room where they laid her on the table. I was pushed inside by Perla, I was next to Loretta. She was given anesthia. They were cutting her up. The first baby cried out. The second baby cried out. She was put back together. She was given the two babies, our babies. Two little girls, screaming their lungs out. I started crying and Loretta smiled up at me.
"Perla and Bella Hillton."
