I wish people were more accepting

Tolerant and understanding.

I wish they weren’t so judgemental

Narrow-minded and short-sighted.

I wish they would find out the facts

Before jumping to conclusions.

I wish they would get to know people

Before deciding they don’t like them.

I wish they could see how

Their behaviour affects other people.

I wish they would realise

That life could be so much nicer for everyone.

I wish that they could see

How they’ve over-reacted.

I wish people were more forward thinking

Move on and put the past where it belongs.

I wish.
