The communications expert

 

Who said ‘the medium is the message?’ Who cares who said it!

 

I have been teaching English since 1998. I taught English activity classes in Hong Kong for more than two years, in nearly fourteen different schools, this gave me some useful experience in being a teacher and a communicator.

I taught business communication at a university in Thailand for a year from 2000 to 2001, this gave me further experience of teaching and communications.

I then studied at the University of Greenwich, Maritime, which is part of the graduate school of education which used to be Garnet College, apparently a teaching training school of some quality.

I was employed as a lecturer in communications at a college of further education in West London, where I taught for a further two years.

I have four years of undergraduate study, one year of degree foundation on the OU and two years post graduate study. The PGCE alone leads to the rank of captain in the military.

 

I sense something in the air, call me mister stupid, but there it seems to be. Call it gamer if you like, take it up to 30,000 feet and drop it, where you like.

 

I have been married for fifteen years. I have two children. I have enhanced criminal record checks and occupation health checks. I am a man of standing regardless of what you may or may not do to me. I have passed things that many would not attempt, yet many more have attempted and failed.

 

I spend my days with the Thai domestic, I feel myself to be like a Thai domestic, and I can tell you that took some planning.

I have to admit I did get diagnosed with a mental illness in 1992, and spent three whole weeks in a psychiatric ward at the time before going back to my halls of residence and I can tell you, it was a very bad and acute attack.

I applied for a master’s in Intercultural Communication at Birkbeck, got an unconditional offer, but feel I’ve done more than enough already :)J

 

Some good experience on this site too, a rare opportunity to express yourself in a safe environment. there's a lot of jungle out there if you know what I mean.
