- Intro: A gay story between the devils son and a human boy.
Chapter 1
Aiden
I’m tired of all of it. Of the heat. Of my family. Of my home. My girlfriend. All of it. I don’t want it anymore. I want something different. Something I’ve never experience before. Something that will just blow my mind away. I want to go to earth.
I know what your thinking. If he’s not on earth than where is he. To be honest. I’m in hell. Literally. The underworld. Why? Well, to in all honesty, I’m the devils son. The seventh, and the last to be exact. It sucks being the youngest. I’m being treated like a little kid.
I’m two thousand and three years old. I can very well take care of myself. Although, I look like I’m seventeen. Yeah, that sucks too. I wouldn’t mind looking young. But this seems a bit too young. So yeah, my life in hell totally sucks.
Then the answer hits me. I look like a teenager. I want to go to earth. Why not enroll as a high school student. That would be totally awesome. So at dinner that night I sat in my chair waiting for the right opportunity to present itself.
“You’ve been awfully quiet tonight, Aiden.” my father said. The whole family turned to look at me.
“I’m just thinking about something.”
“About what dear?” my mother asked.
Great. This is my opportunity. “I, uh, want to enroll as a high school student on earth.” I blurted. My six brothers all burst out laughing. Like it was some kind of joke. And this totally was not.
“Quiet.” my father ordered. My brothers quieted down but still had amused smiles on their faces. “You can’t be serious.”
I looked at my mother. She just stared at me, confused. “I am.” I insisted.
“Why do you want to go there?” Cindy asked. She’s my girlfriend. I’m not in love with her though. And to be honest, I kind of want to get rid of her. Yeah, she’s smart, pretty. But I’m just not interested in her. She’s 5 8”, has long blonde hair, and blue eyes. But I just didn’t want her.
“I want to try different things.”
“Come on bro. the human world?” one of my brothers asked. “Tell me you’re joking.”
“No. I want to go.”
My father now had the amused look on his face. “Very well.” he said. What? He’s actually agreeing. “I’ll let you go. And I’ll take care of everything.”
“Dad?” one of my brothers asked. “Why are you doing that?”
“I want to see how long you can last up there. In the human world.” he was grinning evilly. “You start school on Monday.” Monday? That was only two days away. “Tomorrow I will take you up there. Then you will enroll on Monday.”
I can’t believe it. He’s actually letting me go. I thought he’d be pissed at my idea. I was sure he was going to object. This was strange. After dinner I went to my room to pack. Tomorrow. I let out a sigh. Finally. I was getting out of this hell hole.

Logan
It was a day like any other. I hid in my room. It was the safest place in this whole house. Actually I was in my closet behind some boxes of clothes. I
was hiding from my mother. You see, I’m gay, and she hates me. Yeah, it’s one of those situations. And I have every right to hide. Don’t you go thinking I’m a wimp. Not only is she abusive. But she’s an alcoholic, and she smokes. Oh, what a terrible life it is.
I’m smart, 5 6”, 145 pounds, black hair, brown eyes. You know. A random guy that just happens to be gay. But my friends don’t know I’m gay. After what happened with my mother I’m afraid to tell anyone. Even my best friend Kyle. I only have a couple of friends. I’m not very popular.
Today has been pretty uneventful. Except that I have a new bruise on my collarbone. I’ll have to make an excuse to my friends when I dress down for P.E. Other than that, I’ve been in the closet. I hugged my knees to my chest. Hoping for the weekend to finally be over. School is the only thing I ever have to look forward to. And that isn’t even all that great.
I eventually fell asleep. And when I woke up my back hurt from the position I had been in all day. I had a the corner of a shoebox jabbing me in the back. As quietly as I could I got out of the closet. I looked out my window. It was dark out. I glanced at the clock. It was almost three in the morning.
I stripped down to my boxers and crawled into bed. All too soon the alarm clock rang and woke me up. I always had to be up early and make breakfast for my mom. It was six thirty. That gave me half an hour to shower and get started on breakfast. My shower took a total of five minutes. I threw on some tattered jeans and a T-shirt and a zip up hoodie sweatshirt. I ran down the stairs and got started on breakfast. I decided to do something really fast and easy. Scrambled eggs and bacon.
I made them exactly the way my mother liked them. I dished up her plate and made her coffee. I had everything done by the time she walked into the kitchen. My mother gave me a tired old glare and sat at the table. My life never used to be this way. Before I came out my mother was happy and loving. My father had died a long time ago. But my mother had tried to take care of me the best she could. Then I came out. What a mistake that turned out to be.
After breakfast I did the dishes and started cleaning the house. After my mother was satisfied with how everything looked she said I could go out. Thank god. I was only to happy to get out of the house. I decided I’d just take a walk around town.
I ended up at the ice cream parlor. I sat at the bar and drank my milkshake. Usually the same people keep coming over and over again. Never any new people. Unless they just moved here. And this was a small town. So everyone knows everyone. Except today, I guy I’ve never seen before walked in. He was about 6 2”, maybe 175 pounds, mainly muscle. He had shaggy black hair that kind of fell into his eyes. Green eyes. Oh god, was he cute or what. I quickly looked away. I didn’t want a total stranger think I was checking him out.
So I just faced forward and drank my milkshake. The new guy came over to the bar and sat down. Leaving only one space between us. The guy that worked here was already waiting on someone. Not many people come here. “What’s the best thing here?” he asked. I looked over at him to make sure he was talking to me.
“Well, the fudge Sunday is a good one.” I said. “It’s got a lot of chocolate.” The guy continued to scan the menu. “So, are you new here?” I asked him. I already knew the answer. But I just wanted to talk to someone.
“Yeah, just moving in today.” he said with a grin. “I’ll be enrolling at the high school tomorrow. I’m going to be a junior.”
“Cool.” I mixed up my milkshake a little bit. “I’m a junior too. It’s a pretty good school.” I said with a shrug. The guy nodded. “Sorry,” I said. “I don’t think I introduced myself. My name’s Logan.” I stuck out my hand to shake.
“Aiden.” His hand met mine. It was extremely warm. His smile was kind of crocked. And he was so damn hot. Now my milkshake seemed colder than ever. “So, what do you do around here for fun?”
“There’s an arcade down the street.” I suggested. “Or a movie theater. Or you can just hang out with friends. That’s about it.” It was quite a sad little town. “Oh, there’s also a bowling ally.” I grinned apologetically.
“I don’t think I’ve ever been bowling.” Aiden said tilting his head to the side.
“Bowling is okay…but I’m not really good at it. But maybe I can teach you sometime.”
“Sounds good.” The guy that works here came back and Aiden ordered the fudge Sunday.” He gave me a wink. Huh? He just sat there grinning. I hoped he was gay.
