And glad to be alive

Some people just bring you down

Send your life into a dive.

Some people give you lots of love

And tell you that they care

Some people can’t be bothered

They forget that you are there.

Some people ask you often

If you really are okay

Some people avoid you totally

And don’t know what to say.

Some people are always there for you

No matter where they are

These are your genuine friends

Whether living near or far.

Some people don’t need to see

You every single day

To know that you’re there for them too

Forever, come what may.
