Culture shock. Twice. - Unlike several of my stories, and most of my first novel Wait Until You Die, this story is not in any way autobiographical. P.S. My second novel, which features a truly evil, old-school vampire, is now available on Kindle. It's entitled 'The Gilded Vampire' and I'd describe the book as a modern Gothic-horror rom-com.

Perhaps he didn't really do it for the money. Maybe old Judas isn't the villain he's made out to be. Possibly he's been maligned throughout history without good cause...Judas could have been part of the plan is the general gist of what I'm saying here.

Jimmy's world gets increasingly confusing and Gothic, but of course this is still just the beginning. The later chapters(6-12), which are set in a medieval castle, show Jimmy's state of confusion and fear. The novel is now available on Kindle, re-titled 'Wait Until You Die'.

There are certain supermodels who won't like this story. I borrowed 'Consuela' from Family Guy but I'm sure Seth MacFarlane won't mind, I mean if he did, it would be worse than that time I accidently called Al Capone 'Scarface'. This is a cock-and-bull story in the vein of Tristram Shandy by Laurence Stern. Obviously my version's a lot shorter, but I think it's just as digressive. This is C2 of my novel published on Kindle as 'Wait Until You Die'. It's set in the post-punk Gothic scene of eighties London and follows waiter Jimmy Whitby as he becomes immersed in Gothic culture. Gradually his perspective begins to alter as the long hours and the (free) alcohol cloud his already nebulous vision of life. After a while he won't have a clue what's happening to him or around him.

Dedicated to Lenny Bruce, Bill Hicks, Jerry Sadowitz and Frankie Boyle. In terms of T.V. comedy it's lucky there's a Family Guy, and Peep Show is quite edgy quite often. I also like Charlie Brooker's no-nonsense approach, he's like a non-financial Max Keiser. Life without Family Guy would be worse than that time I went to watch T.V. with my Amish neighbours and it was just a crate. I'm telling you, a crate. With a picture of the Bible pasted onto it. Still, I've seen worse.
